We went to Bistro Chat Noir for Easter lunch. We hate brunch and were very happy to eat regular meal instead of omelette and sausage. The menu was simple but very appetizing. The only comment I have is the service was too fast between meal . I would recommend this restaurant any time of the day and will certainly go back.

Nice little bistro. We went there for brunch. I ordered the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. Quite good. But for dessert, I had the soufflé: $25! Way too pricey for what you get.

Traditional (but healthier - no heavy cream used) French restaurant that, for the most part, no longer exists. Formal but not stuffy. Taste of the Upper East Side
I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant, and it was perfect for a light lunch, before dashing off for some last minute sight seeing and my flight back to London. I had a very good French onion soup, which was a meal in itself. Nice staff, who were polite & discreet. Intimate seating, and perfect for people watching (and listening!).
